About Us

James “Shaggy” Thomson did his first dive in 1998 whilst traveling through Australia. He was addicted immediately so went back to the UK and changed his degree to Marine Biology. From there he travelled the world visiting some of the most amazing dive destinations, spending most of his twenties in Thailand, Egypt and the South Pacific.

He moved to Cayman in 2011 and immediately fell in love with the island, the people and the diving. So much so that he decided to set up his own dive center here.

He’s as happy teaching in a pool, as he is at 200ft down on his rebreather. He is a qualified PADI Master Scuba Diver trainer, an SDI Instructor and a TDI Technical Instructor. He is also an IYT Boat Captain trainer and to top it all off, a Canadian Ski Instructor.
